Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Cordelia Labs LLC is a performance media agency based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the performance media division of Big Sea. This policy explains what information we collect through cordelialabs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the emails and marketing we send from it. Questions about anything here can go to hello@cordelialabs.com.

Information you give us

You can browse this site without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you choose to share it:

  • Forms. When you request a performance audit, a Google Ad Grant audit, or another resource, we ask for details like your name, work email, organization name, and website.
  • Newsletter signup. Your email address, used to send you the content you asked for.
  • Interactive tools. Tools like our paid media scorecard collect your answers and your email address so we can show and send your results.
  • Meeting scheduling. When you book a call through our scheduling tool, we collect your name, email address, and the time you choose.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site or ad that referred you, and campaign parameters attached to the link you clicked (such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers). Our website and customer database run on HubSpot, whose tracking cookies power most of this. If you submit a form, this activity may be connected to your contact record so we understand which campaigns and content led you to us.

We also use Google services on this site, including Google Fonts (which receives your IP address when fonts load) and Google advertising measurement, which helps us understand whether our own ads led you here.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your requests: delivering audits, scorecard results, and scheduled calls.
  • To send marketing email, like our newsletter, which you can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message.
  • To understand which campaigns, pages, and content perform, and to improve the site.
  • To operate our business, including keeping records our accountants and lawyers require.

What we share, and what we don't

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run parts of our operations, primarily HubSpot (website hosting, forms, email, and our customer database) and Google (advertising measurement and fonts). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations.
  • Big Sea, our parent company, which shares staff and systems with Cordelia Labs.
  • Authorities or advisors when the law requires it or when necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Some advertising cookies may qualify as "sharing" under California law because they help measure and target advertising across sites. You can opt out of these as described below.

Cookies and your choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; every major browser explains how in its help pages. Blocking cookies may limit some site features, like pre-filled forms. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because no consistent industry standard exists for them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@cordelialabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you live in California, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act: the right to know what we collect, the right to correct or delete it, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these. We honor all of these rights for everyone, resident or not.

Data retention and security

We keep contact records for as long as we have a business relationship with you or a legitimate reason to retain them, then delete them. Data is stored in the United States on our providers' systems and protected by industry-standard safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage you to share only what the interaction requires.

Children

This site is for professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site and blog link to other companies' websites, and their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes to how we handle personal information will be called out, not buried.
